Veterans Issues was the paper I chose to post because this paper is very close to my heart. I have a family member that suffers from PTSD because of the war and the hardships that veterans go through. If there is anything great that I have read while writing this paper it was, that it is often hard to except the life after the war. A man or women goes into the war as a soldier being strong and protecting their country. They come out weak, broken, and forever changed. Not only do people react different towards war vets but also the veteran feels hopeless. This paper has really opened my eyes to see and get a better understanding to some of the issues they are left to deal with.
There are many times in our lives where we don't understand the sacrifices that soldiers have made. They leave and war is all the begin to live and know, they come back and they struggle to fit in. War changes a persons life forever and it is important that we as Americans understand our veterans.
