Philosophy Of Classroom Management

I believe classroom management is the best way to achieve an effective educational setting. When students feel safe they're learning and education becomes easier. Instead of focusing on punishments I will encourage other ways to prevent misbehaviors in class. Helping students to stay focused on subjects by creating interesting activities and a well structured curriculum. I will make sure all students are included in all subjects and that no child gets left behind. Classroom management needs to focus on the educational outcome of the students, focusing not he learning aspects rather than the disciplines and negative situations.

Productive learning environments will be created by coming up with creative ways to engage students. Incorporating real life events where applicable and using student ideas to help them feel involved. I don't think students should feel left out or left behind because they aren't secure in specific subjects, I ensure students receive one-on-one attention and are able to follow along with the curriculum with confidence.

Subjects that I feel majority of students struggle with I will spend more time on to make sure they have a complete understanding of what is being taught. I will show the students by examples and activities that capture their attention rather than lecture and tell. I will help my students to keep focus on what is being taught by asking questions and having discussions on topics they may need to discuss. I will be available to students for extra study time, after, school and during breaks to make sure they are confident in the assignments given.

I believe communicating with the students one-on-one and as a group can easily address problems that may come up. I will plan to communicate not only with students but also with parents and guardians so that we are working as a community rather than on separate teams. I will enforce team efforts and suggest that when the class works together we all achieve more. I will often change desk and seating around in order for students to get used to change and encourage chances to work and sit by different students. I think seating should be changed often so students will learn how to work with each other instead of against each other. Using group points to and rewards will help to encourage this type of seating. I will set a structured tone from the beginning and be consistent in my actions of teaching and discipline.

A teachers main priority shouldn't be focused on punishing students but I do understand that misbehavior does happen. I will develop a point system and rewards to encourage students to earn points. I will take misbehaved students aside and speak to them in a professional like manner, with respect, helping them to understand that what is being taught in the classroom is for them and when they are misbehaving it takes away from their personal progress. I will set a tone from the beginning of the school year to let each student know and understand the rules of the classroom, what will be tolerated and what will not be tolerated. I will stress that I do not like when students act out with anger or disrespect because I don't like having to discipline them. I will let them know if they respect others then they will be respected in return. I will take the time to make sure students have a full understanding of the rules and behaviors that are expected of them. I will also tell them I am a nice teacher and I only like to be nice and when I have to take children aside for a misbehaving action it’s hard to be as nice I would like to be.

My classroom management and tone will be very well understood to the class, the curriculum and activities taught will interesting. I will pay attention to the students so they feel as if someone cares and understands them. I will listen to my students and ask about things they like and dislike, family life and their social life. I will give them opportunities to grow and gain responsibility. I will be calm and polite, respectful and stern, I believe students learn from example so I will be an extraordinary example to them.
