Give final assessments once instruction is complete and after an assessment review, if students are still struggling with lessons repeat step 3 and go over more information about subject. Don’t make assessments a negative step but an important step to make sure students have a full understanding and have retained important and new information.

Collect, Discuss, Analyze Data, & Report Results

Collect assessments and go over any missed problems or which problems students would like extra discussion on. Discuss results and other areas that seem to be difficult. Analyze by self and with class about students answers. Report assessments, grade fairly and explain results to students. Encourage high expectations for each student.

Use Results to Inform Improvements & Planning

Use results that students have provided to improve the next lesson, which types of activities worked best, which types of learning skills are students comfortable with, what can you change and make better, and use results to improve teaching.
